CEA And Red Cross: Joining Forces to Get More Californians Prepared
Most Californians live within 30 miles of an active fault. It's not a matter of if, but when, the next earthquake will strike. Yet many Californians are not prepared for an earthquake.
CEA and the American Red Cross have joined forces to help more people prepare to survive and recover from California's next earthquake.
To help motivate more people to increase their earthquake preparedness, CEA and the American Red Cross join forces to promote the Get Prepared, California! Auction each April, and the Great California ShakeOut each October.
We are working together to deliver important information on earthquake preparedness by combining Red Cross' disaster preparedness expertise with CEA's residential earthquake insurance and seismic retrofitting expertise. When a house has been seismically retrofit, it is more resistant to earthquake damage.
